What 3.0 Has Done For Me
3.0 Clothing has done many things for me. The main one being it has given me a sense of how a business is ran and maintained. It has been fun to have a connection with the company because now when I see a sticker on the back of the car its cool knowing that I have made a impact in the company and maybe even gave that person the sticker. In a way its very satisfying to see someone wearing 3.0, and knowing you sold them a shirt that they love. I hope to continue to grow 3.0 until it is as big as Volcom or other name brand clothing companies, and eventually start my own company down the road, or work for a major company and be able to put sales executive of 3.0 clothing on my resume and the company be thoroughly impressed.
Future Projects
I'm attending Vanguard University which is located in Costa Mesa, and it just so happens to be right across the street from the Orange County swap meet. This is the biggest swap meet I have ever seen, there is isle, and isles of booths ranging from lawn art, to bedroom sets, back to clothing. I've looked in to prices for a booth and its only $25 for a small both on Saturday and $40 for the weekend. So I plan on renting a booth and giving it a shot and seeing if it would be worth my time.
I am also going to try and get some clothes on campuses down south. Like Cal State Long Beach, and Vanguard University to start. I want to aim the brand more at young adults to grow it quicker because if it catches on at a university it will spread like wild fire.

Current Projects
One project we are working on is helping a small gym called Orcutt Fitness Club design a logo, and a few t-shirts, and bags for members to purchase. We are doing this not so much to make a giant profit off of, but more so to give back and help a local business start up because we were in their shoes once.
Our second project is on a much larger scale we are making about 200 shirts for sunny country and there partner stations for a walk they are doing, and in return for doing this we are there second biggest sponsor which means we get our logo second biggest on the back of the shirts as well with a $400 package of radio advertisement. Also, on the day of the event we will be able to set up a booth and sell product which is nice because we don't have to pay for the spot its all profit.
My little hobby project that I am working on is trying to get in contact with a professional golfer named Bubba Watson. To see if he would be willing to let 3.0 sponsor him. The plan being to eventually get him to wear a 3.0 polo in one of his tournaments!
3.0 Commercials
I was expecting to have our newest commercial all edited by now, however the filmmaker hasn't finished editing it completely. So here are a couple of our older promo videos.

Lipstick 3.0 Hoodie
Our girls line was pretty much non existent until a couple months ago, when I decided to collaborate with my sister. Shes pretty good with a computer so I said here you go design something for a girl you think would sell. After a couple of days she had a few ideas, but the one everyone seemed to like was a scribbled 3.0 with a lipstick container doing the scribbling. She is still in the process of finishing up our first ever summer girls clothing line. It should be released in early June.
Golf Team Logo Hoodies
Since I'm on the golf team I decided to make a logo similar to the basketball one for golf, and get team jackets. This project was pretty simple, but fun because my team was so pumped to get jackets because apparently we didn't have enough money in the golf budget to buy the jackets they normally get.
He Has Risen Tee
A couple nights before Easter we were messing around trying to come up with a cool design. We Came up with He Has Risen, but the E was a 3. It took us awhile to come up with a perfect design, but when we did we posted it to Facebook and it blew up. We got the ok to sell them at our church Pacific Christian Center on Easter, and in total we sold pretty close to 100 shirts just on Sunday! We stayed up the whole night before making as many blank shirts as we had in stock. Wanting to appeal to everyone we came up with a couple different color ways. Here is the finished product.
#ilove3point0clothing
As everyone knows social media plays a huge roll in the life of nearly every person in today's society. So my goal is to get everyone that is sporting 3.0 to take pictures of them doing above average stuff. It can be as simple as them on the top of bishops peak in their 3.0 tee shirt. They would post the picture to their social media account hash tagging #ilove3point0 or #3point0 and the most outrageous picture would get posted to 3.0's account. So it's a fun competition, but at the same time just encouraging people to live life above average, and do above average things!

Catch us in One Way Boardshop
We contacted OneWay and they were on board with letting us put some stuff in their store. They actually asked us to put in enough to fill one clothing stand for their March Madness sell. So we put in about $1200 worth of product. The clothing is selling at a pretty good pace! The next store I want to talk to and see if we can get product into is Esteem. Esteem is a surf shop in Pismo. I'm working on a couple more beach designs , to see which sells better the beachier product or our normal designs.
First 3.0 booth
We had our first booth at our youth group that we are both leaders for. We were just there to show everyone our clothing, but the kids loved it and wanted to buy them. So we started taking orders. We take the booth everyweek to youth just so we can keep working out the kinks, for when we go to a bigger venue with more chaos. For example, we made order forms, got the cubes to take debit card, and many more little things. The next place we are going to take our 3.0 booth is SLO Farmers market. We feel this will be a good venue because there's a lot of college kids who we believe will find the clothing great!
Talking With A Mentor
Dr. Preston connected me with a professor who is the assistant professor of Entrepreneurship at Illinois State University. I simply asked him what basic concepts do people use to start up their businesses? My notes weren't very put together so i'm going to re-write them in a way you guys can actually understand them. First thing he told me was a process called lean start up which is more time consuming, but cheaper. This process consists of you going out, and talking to the costumer group you are targeting. Before you start talking to them however there are a couple basic rules. The first rule is never ask the costumer for future behavior, For example, Would you buy this shirt for $30. The reason being we as humans are taught to sugar coat, and be nice so of course were going to say yes to $30 when we might only be willing to pay $20 for it. Rule 2 is that your opinion is invalid and the customer always knows better, because they will be buying the product. When going out to talk to customers you prepare a simple scientific method. Make your Hypothesis, experiment, draw a conclusion. The basic principle behind a Lean Startup is to measure what you have built, learn from it, and fix what you need to over and over again. There will always be a issue it will never be perfect. On a side not when customers come to you with concerns exchange info with them, because when you find a solution to there issue you can tell them, and then they will feel as if they played a part in helping you start your company. The reasoning behind this is when someone feels connected in something they are more willing to not only buy your product, but tell friends about it.

3.0 Trial Sale
The day that Rich and I had the talk about me doing sales for him he gave me a little trial. It was a few days before the big 3rd round CIF basketball game. Righetti played Compton at home. So we decided to make some warrior shirts for the game. It was my job to take orders and sell them at school. Within 2 days I sold a total of 27 shirts. This was pretty good considering the time I had to sell. We sold them for $10 each which was pretty cheap, but we did this in order to sell them just so the kids could match and have some school spirit. Selling them at $10 each the profit was probably about $5 per shirt. After these sells I was officially on as the sales representative.
The Meaning Behind 3.0
3.0 Clothing "The Above Average Life" is a Metaphor. It is a metaphor between life and a normal school GPA. A 2.0 grade average is considered a average GPA. 3.0 is considered above average GPA, and a 4.0 GPA is perfect. So realistically no one can be perfect so we strive to live a "3.0 life" or in other words do everything you do to the fullest and strive to be the best you can be!
Welcome To 3.0 Clothing
So I have always known my masterpiece was going to be related to business some way I just didn't know which direction to take it. However it has recently come to me. I am going to be the sales representative for the clothing company 3.0 the above average life. 3.0 clothing is all about living your life to the fullest, and living It above the average. The creator of 3.0 is a good friend of mine Rich Easton, he was a Righetti graduate himself. So he has given me the opportunity to sell as much as I can, and get the clothing line blossoming. Here marks where the start of my 3.0 above average journey starts.
